Why does my thermometer say 'Lo'?
'Lo' means low temperature and not that the battery is low – The reason it may sometimes say 'LO' is because room temperature is roughly 21°C (69.8°F), which is too low for our basal thermometer. Body temperature is usually around 35.80–36.90°C (96.44-98.42 °F).
You should always place your thermometer under your tongue and close your mouth before you press ON.
If your thermometer doesn't beep or start, please see the instructions here on how to change the battery.
I've measured twice, and the thermometer shows two different temperatures? Is there something wrong with it?
With every reading, your body temperature will naturally rise and fall, so the first reading is likely to come out differently than the second. There is no need to measure twice as the first reading will be the closest to your actual resting temperature.
Testing of functionality: If you are worried about how to measure, or the thermometer functioning correctly, please use the Thermometer Training Guide function within the app.
If your thermometer has been damaged in any way, you can purchase a new thermometer directly from within the app, or from our webshop*. Please remember to only change to your new thermometer at the start of your next period, as you are not allowed to change thermometers in the middle of a cycle. If you have recently started a new cycle, it may be optimal to exclude all temperatures for this current cycle, so that you can get back to adding temperatures again, and not have to wait until your next period begins.
