The NC° Thermometer Gen1 can save your last measured temperature so that you don’t need to log it in the app right away. If you prefer to snooze for a bit or simply want to add your temperature later, you can go back and check your saved temperature in your thermometer. Here's how to do it:
- The thermometer will beep to indicate that the thermometer has finished measuring your temperature. To save the temperature, turn the thermometer off after the first beep.
- Whenever you’re ready to log your temperature, make sure you have the lights on and are ready to read the value.
- Turn the thermometer back on. The saved temperature value will then be shown on the display for about one second with a small “M” symbol (M=memory) so that you can read it and enter it into the app.
- This can be re-done as many times as you wish, as long as you turn the thermometer off before it flashes onward to start measuring again.
Since the saved temperature will only be shown for about one second before a reloading value appears, it’s important that you have the lights on and that you’re ready to read it before turning the thermometer back on.
Saving your temperature can be helpful if the beeping of the thermometer disturbs you or your family in the morning, and it will also help if you don't want to turn on the lights first thing in the morning to read the temperature.
