The NC° Thermometer Gen1 can save your last measured temperature so that you don’t need to log it in the app right away. If you prefer to snooze for a bit or simply want to add your temperature later, you can go back and check your saved temperature in your thermometer.
The thermometer will beep to indicate that the thermometer has finished measuring your temperature. To save the temperature, turn the thermometer off after the first beep.
Whenever you’re ready to log your temperature, turn the thermometer back on. The saved temperature value will then be shown on the display for a couple of seconds with a small “M” symbol (M=memory), so that you can read it and enter it into the app.
Since the saved temperature will only be shown for about two seconds before a reloading value appears, please make sure that you have the lights on and that you are ready to read it before turning the thermometer back on. This can be re-done as many times as you wish, as long as you turn it off before it flashes onward to start measuring again.
Saving your temperature can be helpful if the beeping of the thermometer disturbs you or your family in the morning, and it will also help if you don't want to turn on the lights first thing in the morning to read the temperature.
