To sync your temperature from the NC° Thermometer Gen2 to the Natural Cycles app, please follow the steps below once you’re done measuring:
- Open the Add data page of the Natural Cycles app within 60 seconds after you have finished measuring. Your temperature will be visible on the thermometer screen for 60 seconds or until it has been synced with the app.
- The thermometer will connect with the app, displaying APP on the thermometer screen when the connection is established.
- Your temperature will then be synced automatically to the app, and you will be able to see it in the temperature field at the top of the Add data page along with the time of the measurement.
- The thermometer will automatically turn itself off once the temperature has been synced.
Can I sync my temperature later?
If needed, you can also sync your temperature later during the day by opening your Add data page and then clicking the Bluetooth button on the thermometer (not the power/NC° button) while the thermometer is turned off. The temperature and time of measurement will then appear automatically in the temperature field.
Can I sync several temperatures at the same time?
Yes, you are able to sync temperatures for multiple days at once. To do this, simply open your Add data page and click on the Bluetooth button on the thermometer (not the power/NC° button) while it is turned off. Read more about this here.
Please note that if you sync temperatures for multiple days, the algorithm will take all the new data into consideration and you may see changes in your fertility status on the days where new temperature data was added. For that reason, we recommend that you try to sync your temperature every day instead of syncing multiple temperatures at once.
Can I add my temperature manually?
Yes, you can add your temperature manually by typing it into the temperature field in the Add data page.
If you do this later in the day, you can view your saved measurement by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button on the thermometer for at least five seconds while it is switched off. The most recent temperature value will then be displayed along with the date and time of the measurement. When you log the temperature in the app, the timestamp will reflect the time the temperature was added.
The thermometer can save up to 30 temperatures, and if you would like to view your older temperatures, you can simply click on the Bluetooth button again to go to the next temperature.
