The NC° Thermometer Gen3 is equipped with a CR2032 coin cell battery.
If the battery level is low, you will see a “battery warning” indicator appear on the display after switching the thermometer on. If you see this, you should change the battery. Measurement values stored on the device are still saved when the battery is replaced, but you will need to connect it with the app to be able to see the time and date of the measurements again.
You can also see your thermometer’s battery level in the app under the menu > My device > Battery. If the battery level is low, this will be shown with an orange battery icon. There is a guide on how to replace the battery in the app.
How to change the battery
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the thermometer.
- Remove the old battery and insert a new one (CR2032 - not CR2025) with the “+” symbol facing up.
- Place the cover back on the battery compartment.
The thermometer must be connected with the Natural Cycles app again before you are able to continue syncing your temperatures. To do this, open the app and go to the menu > My device, and then click on the thermometer’s Settings button to connect the thermometer.
