How to make the most of NC° Postpartum
The Today page
The Today page in NC° Postpartum is tailored to your experience. There, you’ll find:
- Your fertility status. You will receive Purple (Recovery) Days in the first 4 weeks after giving birth. After that, you will get Red Days until your ovulation is confirmed. The timing of your first ovulation post-birth can vary widely from person to person and often depends on whether you’re breastfeeding or not.
Red days are days where you may be fertile. On all Red Days, you should use protection (we recommend condoms) or abstain from vaginal intercourse. Learn more here.
Please note that, in the first few weeks post-birth, it is recommended to abstain from vaginal intercourse. If you have any questions about this, we recommend reaching out to your healthcare professional.
- A daily check-in with a list of questions to monitor your mental and physical recovery on a daily basis.
- Today’s mood and symptoms, where you’ll see a summary of your added trackers and notes. This will only show after today’s check-in was answered.
- The algorithm box, where you’ll receive feedback from the NC° algorithm about how your cycle is recovering.
New trackers
On top of all the trackers you may have been used to tracking in different NC° modes, NC° Postpartum unlocks additional trackers, such as:
- Postpartum bleeding
- Sore nipples, perineal pain, stitches, hemorrhoids
- Stretch marks, hair loss
