How to measure after a surgery
After undergoing surgery, if you are feeling different, if you have difficulty sleeping due to this, or if you are taking some medication that may impact your temperature, you should exclude your temperature. That way, the algorithm does not take it into account when calculating your fertility status.
Once you have recovered, you can log your temperatures as you normally would.
It is good to remember that while your body is recovering from the surgery, you may experience some cycle irregularities, but this should normalize in time.
How to log bleeding after a reproductive surgery
If you’ve had a reproductive procedure (any kind of surgery on the female reproductive system), you may experience post-surgery bleeding.
If the surgery causes the bleeding, we would advise you to log it as Spotting (since this is not a period). You can use the Notes section to describe the bleeding if you wish to keep track of this.
If you are unsure if the bleeding is a period, we recommend reaching out to your healthcare professional so they can help you determine what kind of bleeding you are experiencing.
