My Garmin wearable is not syncing with the NC° app
If your Garmin wearable is not syncing with the Natural Cycles app successfully, please ensure that:
- The wearable that you are trying to sync is compatible with Natural Cycles.
- You are logged into the correct Garmin account in your Garmin Connect app.
- You enter the email address associated with your Garmin account when connecting your device to the NC° app. This email address can be different from the one you use for Natural Cycles.
- You enabled the required data-sharing settings. Sometimes these don't go through properly. Try unpairing and re-pairing your Garmin wearable in the NC° app (☰ Menu → My Device) and make sure you allow data sharing when prompted.
- You have a stable internet connection.
- If you use multiple Garmin wearables, confirm the correct one is set as your primary device
My temperature data isn’t syncing
If you see the text ‘Not enough data’ below the temperature section for previous days, this means there wasn’t enough data available for that day. This may happen if you didn’t wear the Garmin overnight, if you slept for fewer than four hours, if your wearable wasn't positioned correctly, or if it ran out of battery.
If your Garmin temperature data isn’t syncing with the Natural Cycles app at all, here are a few things to check:
First, confirm your account setup:
- Your Garmin wearable is compatible with Natural Cycles
- You’re logged into the correct Garmin account in the Garmin Connect app
- When connecting Garmin to Natural Cycles, you entered the email linked to your Garmin account (this can be different from your NC° login email)
Next, check the data you’re missing is from sleep that occurred after you connected your Natural Cycles and Garmin accounts:
- Natural Cycles can only import temperature data recorded after you connected your Garmin account to your Natural Cycles account. If the connection wasn’t active previously, we’re unable to import historical temperatures.
Finally, review a few sync settings:
- Confirm your data syncs successfully in Garmin Connect
- Make sure Bluetooth and internet are enabled
- Keep the Garmin Connect app open while syncing, as syncing can take a few moments
- Ensure your Garmin wearable firmware is compatible and up to date
- If you use multiple Garmin wearables, confirm the correct one is set as your primary device
Can I import previous temperature data using my Garmin wearable?
Natural Cycles can only import temperature data recorded after you connected your Garmin account to your Natural Cycles account. If the connection wasn’t active previously, we’re unable to import historical temperatures.
