Our integration with Apple Health enables you to import fertility data into Natural Cycles from the Apple Health app, in case you were tracking your fertility before in a different app and don’t want to start from scratch with Natural Cycles. You can also back up your Natural Cycles data in the Apple Health app.
This functionality is only supported on iOS devices and not on Android.
What data can I sync between Natural Cycle and Apple Health?
When syncing data between Natural Cycles and Apple Health, you are able to import or export the following types of data:

- Sex
*If you’re using Natural Cycles with an Oura Ring or Apple Watch, basal body temperature data will not be imported/exported from Apple Health to the NC° app. The app will use the Oura Ring or Apple Watch temperature source instead.

- Open the Settings app on your device

- Select “Turn on all” permissions
- Open the Natural Cycles app and go to the top menu > Settings > Integrations
- Make sure that you’ve selected if you want to import and/or export data
If you’re still struggling to sync Natural Cycles to Apple Health, please check if any of the following scenarios apply:
- Were you previously using hormonal birth control? Please note that it’s not possible to sync data from when you were using hormones.
-
Are you trying to import temperature data?
- Please check to see if any of the temperatures are below 32°C or 89.6°F, as this will prevent the algorithm from importing data. If you do have temperatures below 32°C or 89.6°F, delete those from Apple Health and then try to sync again.
- If you’re using Natural Cycles with an Oura Ring or Apple Watch, you’re not able to import basal body temperature data from Apple Health.
