Demo mode is for users who have not subscribed to Natural Cycles yet but would like to get an inside look into the app before purchase. In this mode, you can interact with the different functions of the app, such as the 'Today' view, the Graph, and the 'My Cycle' tab.
It is important to note that the data in Demo Mode is not real data and should not be used for contraceptive purposes. You will not be able to enter any data during this time; it will not be saved.
You will also be in Demo Mode if the app has the information that you are still on hormonal contraception.
The app gets this information from the setup questions that you answered when signing up. Natural Cycles will not be able to track your cycle if you are on hormonal contraception. In general, the hormones work to inhibit ovulation and affect your body temperature, making it impossible to combine with Natural Cycles. The bleeding you may experience while on hormonal contraception is not equivalent to your period. Learn more about withdrawal bleeding here.
If you plan to make the transition, find out when you can start using the app after hormonal contraception in this article.
Once you are off hormones or ready to get started, you can exit Demo Mode by clicking on 'subscribe.' You will not be charged again, but you will be taken through steps for setting up your account.
If the app is still on Demo Mode and you are not on hormonal contraception, this can be due to the following:
- If you purchased your subscription through Apple, please proceed to this article.
- If you purchased directly through the app by using a credit card or PayPal, it could be that your subscription was created with a different email address. To receive further assistance, we invite you to contact our Customer Support team via this link.
